Chef Wendy Tucker

Chef Wendy is a classically trained professional chef with 20 years experience.  In 2010, she interned with Chef Poon who owns and operates one of Philadelphia’s premier Chinese restaurants.  In 2009, Chef Wendy started Blue Nile Catering Company, Inc. because she wanted a catering company where she and her team make a commitment to provide quality service for you, your guest and your event.  Her catering company is in the business of nurturing the human spirit, one person one meal at a time.  It has always been and always will be about excellence.  

As a graduate of The International Culinary Schools at the Art Institute of Philadelphia, she was taught the importance of creating a high-quality menu.  Business management has taught her to build a team whose passion and standards mirror her own.  Chef Wendy works closely with farmers, purveyors, and artisans whose commitment to quality and ethically sourced products are aligned with Blue Nile Catering Company’s core values. She spends countless hours sharpening her techniques and invests her own time and money learning new ones.  Chef Wendy believes that knowledge breeds passion.
