Executive Chef & Author of “Beyond My Chef Coat” Kevin Des Chenes has over 20 years of experience in the hospitality industry. He was named “Top Chef” by Las Vegas Food & Wine and is the winner of “Top Celebrity Chef Showdown”.
He has been a Chef Expert for Gordon Ramsey and appeared as a Featured Chef on Food Network’s “Chef Wanted” and “Beat Bobby Flay”, as well as the nationally syndicated “Better Show”, “CT Style”, “Better CT”, “Fox Morning Show”, and “The Rhode Show” among others.
After launching 156 Bistro in Burlington, Vermont, he has served as Executive Chef to some of New England’s most notable restaurants and catering companies Including Boston’s Washington Square Tavern, Centro Martini, and McGraths Catering in Newport RI.

MENU: GIFFT Chardonnay and Lobster Corn Fritters with jalapeño aioli; GIFFT Pinot Grigio and Ginger Seared Scallops with Swiss Card & Fresh Citrus Pinot Grigio reduction; GIFFT Red Blend and Braised Short Rib with Red Blend, Soy Chili Glaze; and GIFFT Pinot Noir Rose paired with Fresh Burrata with Pinot Noir Rose & Fresh Blackberry Jam.
