Chef Ryan Corbin

Chef Ryan Corbin is the Chef De Cuisine at Mistral, located in King of Prussia. Chef Ryan was born and raised in Somerville, NJ and fell in love with cooking at an early age. Growing up, Chef Ryan and his best friend competed with each other to see who could cook the best dish. Twenty years down the road, they are both spectacular head chefs for two different restaurants, which happen to be located across the country from each other.  

Chef Ryan currently holds an Associate Degree from The Pennsylvania Culinary School located in Pittsburgh, PA. He now resides in East Norriton, PA. Before coming to Mistral, Chef Ryan worked for The Ryland Inn in Whitehouse, NJ. He believes that position prepared him for the rigorous, yet rewarding occupation he has now held at Mistral for almost two years. “I’ve always been passionate about cooking, but the thing I love most about Mistral is I can put whatever I want on the menu. A lot of chefs have to fight for that, so I am always striving to push myself further.” Chef Ryan enjoys sharing his love for cooking by teaching others his culinary expertise, which makes him excited to perform a chef demo at this year’s festival.
